The Licensed Psychologist Manager with the Department of Human Services (DHS) is an exciting chance to lead essential behavioral health services at Ebensburg Center. Requirements

• One year as a Licensed Psychologist MH or a Psychologist (Commonwealth job titles or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or One year of experience as a licensed professional psychologist in the treatment of inmates or individuals with mental illness, intellectual disabilities and/or behavioral dysfunction.
• Possess a current license to practice psychology as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Psychology or possession of a current license to practice psychology as issued by another state with licensure requirements acceptable to the Board. Applicants with out of state licensure must obtain Pennsylvania licensure within one year of employment.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions.
• A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
• Submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise psychological staff, assign work, and evaluate performance
• Guide policies, procedures, and program development within psychological services
• Plan and deliver professional training to support skill growth and strong practices
• Participate in diagnostic and evaluative meetings to discuss the diagnosis, etiology, treatment, and disposition of residents
• Ensure services meet all applicable standards and certification requirements
• Prepare reports and contribute to evaluations and reviews as required
