About The Position
SonderMind Professional Clinical Counselor, P.C. (SPCC) is seeking a part-time or full-time Licensed Psychiatrist (MD/DO) to provide high-quality psychiatric care, including diagnostic evaluations, medication management, and ongoing treatment planning for a diverse client population. This role is designed to offer clinicians predictability and meaningful earning potential through a structured productivity model. Psychiatrists are supported by SonderMind’s care coordination, technology platform, and operational infrastructure, allowing them to focus on delivering consistent, high-quality care. Additionally, we expect all team members to effectively leverage modern AI technologies as part of their everyday workflow, and to continuously adapt as new tools emerge. Familiarity with job-relevant AI platforms such as Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot or other industry-standard AI productivity tools is expected and considered essential for success at this company.
Requirements
- Psychiatrist (MD/DO) with active, unrestricted license in applicable state(s)
- Board-certified or board-eligible in psychiatry
- Experience providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management
- Strong clinical judgment and commitment to evidence-based care
- Ability to maintain timely and accurate documentation
- Comfort working in a technology-enabled care environment
- Interest in a structured, productivity-based compensation model

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, establish diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans that align with clinical best practices and SonderMind standards.
- Manage and monitor medications, assess treatment progress, and adjust care plans as needed to ensure optimal clinical outcomes.
- Complete timely, accurate, and compliant documentation for all client encounters in accordance with company, legal, and payer requirements.
- Collaborate with therapists, care coordinators, and other providers to ensure a seamless and integrated care experience for clients.
- Maintain a consistent schedule and meet baseline expectations for completed clinical encounters, with the opportunity to earn additional compensation through productivity-based incentives.
- Utilize the InSync platform and clinical tools to manage caseload, streamline documentation, and enhance care delivery.
