Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) - Remote
About The Position
Brave Health is hiring full-time Licensed Therapists to provide outpatient mental health services through its telehealth program. The role is fully remote, with team members working from home and serving patients across the lifespan, including patients covered by commercial health plans, Medicaid, and Medicare. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with no weekends, and shift options of 9 a.m.–6 p.m. or 10 a.m.–7 p.m. CDT. Compensation includes a base salary plus bonus, with additional compensation for bilingual candidates. The position includes a comprehensive benefits package, liability insurance coverage, and an annual stipend for growth and education opportunities. Brave Health’s mission is to expand access to compassionate, high-quality mental health care, particularly for people who face barriers to receiving care. The organization uses technology to deliver accessible, affordable mental health treatment. Applicants must have a private home workspace suitable for protecting patient privacy and meeting HIPAA requirements, and must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
Requirements
- Master’s-level degree and professional licensure.
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
- A private work-from-home space that supports patient safety and HIPAA requirements.
- Fluency in English.
- Knowledge of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnosis.
- Ability to develop treatment plans and use comprehensive assessments.
- Comfort using technology throughout the workday, including telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools.
- Experience working in partnership with clients to achieve goals.
Nice To Haves
- Fluency in Spanish; additional compensation is offered to bilingual candidates.
- Proficiency in other languages is a plus.
