About The Position

American Senior Communities is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an evening-shift role at Allisonville Meadows Assisted Living, Monday through Friday. The nurse develops meaningful relationships with residents and staff by learning their life stories and uses nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. The role supports a comforting, engaging environment and coordinated, comprehensive care. Requirements

• Current, valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in Indiana.
• Proficient medication management skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work toward the shared goal of excellent resident care.
• Demonstrates Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being through nursing care.
• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
• Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Conduct resident assessments and accurately document changes in condition.
• Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values in interactions with residents, family members, customers, and staff.
