About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join its team at Miami Correctional Facility in Bunker Hill, Indiana. The LPN (Medical) provides holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients, working under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical and psychiatric staff to address a range of physical and behavioral health needs. Corrections experience is not required. The position offers three 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend, and a $7,500 bonus for joining the team full-time. The listed hourly rate is $36–$39.
Requirements
- Indiana Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license, or ability to obtain one.
- Active and appropriate certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
Responsibilities
- Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within the appropriate scope of practice.
- Work under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical and psychiatric staff to respond to patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.
