About The Position

Rocky Mountain Care - Willow Springs in Tooele, Utah is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide care to a group of residents in a nursing unit. The role includes assessing resident needs, developing individual care plans, administering nursing care, and supervising Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other personnel in the delivery of nursing care. Shift differentials are offered for NOC and weekend shifts.

Requirements

Hold a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Utah.
Demonstrate clinical assessment skills at the level necessary to meet the job requirements.
Be able to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
Know nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.
Have effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work with an interdisciplinary care team.
Have a basic understanding of computer technology, including email use.
Have proven written and oral communication skills.
Have proven decision-making and analytical skills.
Be able to relate positively, favorably, and cooperatively with employees, residents, family members, and personnel of outside agencies and organizations.
Have a positive attitude and desire to work with the aging population.
