About The Position
Rocky Mountain Care-Clearfield is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide long-term care in its nursing facility. Requirements
- Current, unencumbered, active Utah license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Clinical assessment skills sufficient to meet the job requirements.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, and of laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.
- Interpersonal skills and ability to work with an interdisciplinary care team.
- Basic understanding of computer technology, including email use.
- Written and oral communication skills.
- Decision-making and analytical skills.
- Ability to relate positively and cooperatively with employees, residents, family members, and personnel of outside agencies and organizations.
- Positive attitude and desire to work with the aging population.
Responsibilities
- Assess resident needs.
