About The Position
A compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is needed for a long-term care (LTC) assignment. This role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care while collaborating with healthcare teams to support residents in a skilled nursing environment. The ideal candidate will be committed to patient safety, comfort, and dignity.
Requirements
- Active LPN/LVN or RN license in North Dakota (or compact eligibility)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts and extended hours as needed
Nice To Haves
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to long-term care residents
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and assess patient conditions; report changes appropriately
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and care planning
- Support residents with daily healthcare needs while ensuring comfort and dignity
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes
- Follow infection control and patient safety protocols
