About The Position
We are currently seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Eureka, KS. This position will involve working night shifts from 6 PM to 6 AM on a rotating block schedule of 36/48 hours. This position is within a skilled nursing facility with a typical census of 45 residents. The facility usually has one nurse present in the building during the night shift.
Requirements
- Current LPN licensure in the state of Kansas.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Nice To Haves
- IV certification is preferred.
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing environment.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and progress.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Assist in various medical procedures as needed.
