About The Position

Otterbein is seeking caring and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide direct resident care and collaborate with physicians, residents, and multidisciplinary team members. The role provides physical and psychological support to residents, families, and team members, while contributing to person-centered care that respects residents and their choices. The listed opening is a full-time third-shift position, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Starting pay is $28.00 per hour, based on experience, with a $2.00 shift differential for second and third shifts.

Requirements

Graduate of an approved nursing program.
Valid Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

At least six months of direct-care nursing practice is desired.
Long-term care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide direct care to residents.
Coordinate, supervise, and evaluate resident care.
Assist with safety assurance for residents and nursing staff.
Communicate with nursing staff, other departments, and service providers.
Exhibit a positive professional image to residents, visitors, and facility staff.
Perform related tasks as required; other duties may be assigned.
