Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN)
About The Position
Otterbein is seeking caring and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide resident-centered care in its communities or small house neighborhoods. The LPN directs resident care, collaborates with physicians, residents, and multidisciplinary team members, and provides physical and psychological support to residents, families, and team members. The role emphasizes honoring residents and their choices while delivering compassionate, high-quality care. Full-time work is available on 3rd shift, with a four-day work week consisting of two 8-hour weekday shifts and two 12-hour shifts every other weekend. Starting pay is $28.00 per hour, increasing with experience, with a $3.00 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts. DailyPay is available for access to earned wages. Otterbein SeniorLife is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) health and human service organization serving residents in Ohio and Indiana through senior lifestyle communities, small house neighborhoods, home health, and hospice care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved nursing program.
- Valid Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- CPR certification.
- At least 6 months of direct-care nursing practice is desired.

- Long-term care experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to residents.
- Coordinate, supervise, and evaluate resident care.
- Assist with safety assurance for residents and nursing staff.
- Communicate with nursing staff, other departments, and service providers.
- Maintain a positive professional image with residents, visitors, and facility staff.
- Perform related tasks as required; other duties may be assigned.
