About The Position

Otterbein is seeking caring and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses to provide direct resident care and collaborate with physicians, residents, and multidisciplinary team members. The role provides physical and psychological support to residents, families, and team members. This is a full-time position with a third-shift schedule. The schedule is described as a four-day work week with 8-hour shifts on two weekdays and two 12-hour shifts every other weekend. Starting pay is $28.00 per hour, increasing with experience, plus a $3.00 differential for second and third shifts.

Requirements

Graduate of an approved nursing program.
Valid Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
CPR.

Nice To Haves

At least 6 months of direct care nursing practice is desired.
Long-term care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide direct care to residents.
Coordinate, supervise, and evaluate resident care.
Assist with safety assurance for residents and nursing staff.
Communicate with nursing and other departments and service providers.
Exhibit a positive professional image to residents, visitors, and facility staff.
Perform related tasks as required; other duties may be assigned.
