About The Position

Otterbein is seeking caring and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide direct resident care and collaborate with physicians, residents, and multidisciplinary team members. The role includes providing physical and psychological support to residents, families, and team members. This position is offered as a full-time third-shift role, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Starting pay is $28.00 per hour, based on experience, with a $2.00 shift differential for second and third shifts.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved nursing program.
• Valid Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• CPR.

Nice To Haves

• At least 6 months of direct care nursing practice is desired.
• Long-term care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents.
• Coordinate, supervise, and evaluate resident care.
• Assist with safety assurance for residents and nursing staff.
• Communicate with nursing and other departments and service providers.
• Exhibit a positive professional image to residents, visitors, and facility staff.
• Perform related tasks as required; other duties may be assigned.
