About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) delivers quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact and provides care and services to help patients attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being, in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. The LPN monitors and reports changes in patients’ conditions and assigns duties, instructs, and provides clinical supervision to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). The position is scheduled Tuesday through Friday, 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. The posting advertises a $1,500 sign-on bonus and describes the employer as affiliated with Life Care Centers of America, a privately owned healthcare company with more than 200 locations across the United States.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited LPN program.
Hold a current license or registration in the applicable state.
Maintain an active Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in good standing throughout employment.
Obtain CPR certification upon hire or during orientation and keep it current throughout employment.
Knowledgeably and competently deliver quality nursing care to patients.
Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.

Nice To Haves

One year of skilled nursing experience is preferred.
