About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) provides appropriate nursing care on the nursing unit as directed by an RN. The role includes gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures in an age- and population-appropriate manner, consistent with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. The nurse also performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements
- Current licensure as an LPN/LVN in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if the state participates.
- Current BLS certification is required; AHA-approved BLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
- Current IV certification within 90 days of employment, if required by state regulations.
Nice To Haves
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience.
Responsibilities
