About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) provides appropriate nursing care on the nursing unit as directed by an RN. Care is delivered in an age- and population-appropriate manner and in accordance with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. The role includes gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures for patients. Other related duties may be assigned or requested. This is a PRN night-shift position at Georgetown Rehab. Requirements
- Current LPN/LVN licensure in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if the state participates.
- Current BLS certification; AHA-approved BLS certification is required within 90 days of employment.
- Current IV certification within 90 days of employment if required by state regulations.
Nice To Haves
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.
