About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), also referred to as an LVN, provides appropriate nursing care on the nursing unit as directed by an RN. Care is delivered in an age- and population-appropriate manner and follows PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. The position includes gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures. Other related duties may be assigned or requested. This is a PRN nights position at Surprise Rehab. PAM Health describes a collaborative work environment with colleagues and leadership and exposure to a variety of patient care levels. Requirements
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the state where the hospital is located.
- Current BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.
- Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments.
- A higher comfort level working with vents, trachs, and PICC lines.
- Two years of experience in direct patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care as directed by an RN on the nursing unit.
