About The Position
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) provides appropriate nursing care on the nursing unit as directed by an RN. Care is delivered in an age- and population-appropriate manner and must be consistent with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. The role includes gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures on patients. The nurse also performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements
- Current licensure as an LPN/LVN in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if the state participates.
- Current BLS certification; BLS certification must be AHA-approved within 90 days of employment.
- Current IV certification within 90 days of employment if required by state regulations.
Nice To Haves
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
