Licensed Practical Nurse (Lpn) Full Time Days
About The Position
AMG Specialty Hospital - North Mississippi is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for day shifts. The LPN provides direct and indirect patient care addressing patients’ psychosocial, physical, and general needs, and meets the communication needs of patients and families. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the LPN provides care that reflects initiative and professional responsibility and performs general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision. The role requires compliance with regulatory requirements and nursing and hospital policies, procedures, and standards. The LPN communicates changes in a patient’s clinical condition—including diagnostic study results and symptoms—to physicians and team members, and responds promptly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Weekend shifts receive shift differentials.
Requirements
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in the State of Mississippi.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Minimum of six months to one year of work experience.
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
