Licensed Practical Nurse -LPN Full Time Day Shift
About The Position
Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join its team at Rockville Correctional Facility in Rockville, Indiana. Centurion provides comprehensive healthcare services to the Indiana Department of Correction. The LPN (Medical) provides holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. The nurse works under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical and psychiatric staff to address a range of physical and behavioral health needs. The position is a 12-hour day shift, 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., with three shifts per week. Pay is $25–$33 per hour, depending on years of experience, and the position offers a $7,500 joining bonus, full benefits, and a shift differential.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one.
- Active, appropriate certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, including passing a drug screen and criminal background check.
Responsibilities
- Provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
- Work under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical and psychiatric staff.
- Respond to patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.
