LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse ($5000 Sign-On Bonus)
About The Position
Join our team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and play a vital role in supporting the physical and emotional well-being of our students. This position is part of our Health & Wellness team and offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus. You will provide compassionate nursing care, conduct health assessments, assist with student physical assessments, review lab results, develop wellness plans, and maintain infection control standards. Accurate documentation and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team are key. We are looking for a compassionate, organized, and collaborative individual passionate about health and wellness to help shape the future of our students.
Requirements
- State Licensed Vocational Nurse’s License/Licensed Practical Nurse’s License
- One year’s experience as a practicing LVN/LPN.
- Active, unrestricted license to practice in state where center is located.

Responsibilities
- Providing compassionate nursing care in accordance with your state's Nurse Practice Act.
- Conducting health assessments, walk-in evaluations, and wellness screenings.
- Assisting with new student physical assessments and health orientations.
- Reviewing laboratory results and collaborating with the Center Physician or medical provider on follow-up care.
- Developing individualized wellness plans and educating students on healthy lifestyle choices.
- Leading wellness education groups and providing one-on-one health counseling.
- Maintaining infection prevention and control standards, including proper handling of medical equipment and specimens.
- Accurately documenting student health encounters and maintaining confidential medical records.
- Working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to promote a safe, healthy, and supportive campus environment.
- Supporting a culture of respect, inclusion, accountability, and student success.
- Pitching in wherever needed to help our students and team thrive.
