About The Position
STAT Home Health is seeking Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) in Baton Rouge, LA. Requirements
- Current Louisiana Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required.
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience as an LPN.
- Current CPR Certification.
- Compassionate and great time management skills.
- Reliable transportation to conduct patient visits at their place of residence or facility.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing and supportive care in accordance with the Interdisciplinary Plan of Care, under the direction of the RN.
- Communicate with the attending physicians, other home health team members, and other agencies as needed to coordinate optimal care and use of community resources for the patient/family.
- Document all services provided.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations for home health benefits.
- Report changes in patient condition and needs to RN.
