About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses for its HICU® Health Services team in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area. The role supports infants and young children transitioning from hospital to home. Working as an extension of a hospital care team, the nurse provides skilled nursing care in clients’ homes during their initial weeks of homecare and trains families and the ongoing care team. Care is provided one-on-one in a team-based environment. Only night-shift availability is stated. Full-time and part-time schedules are offered.

Requirements

Current Licensed Practical Nurse license.
At least one year of verifiable work experience as an LPN.
NICU, PICU, ICU, or home-care tracheostomy/ventilator experience.
Demonstrated competence in infusion and tracheostomy/ventilator care, demonstrated in a home or lab setting.

Responsibilities

Provide skilled nursing care to pediatric clients in their homes during the initial weeks of homecare.
Work as an extension of the hospital care team in a team-based environment.
Train clients’ families and the ongoing care team.
Provide one-on-one care to patients.
