About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses for its HICU® Health Services team in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area. Nurses help infants and young children transition from hospital to home by delivering skilled nursing care in the home during the initial weeks of homecare. The Hospital at Home Nurse works in a team-based environment as an extension of a hospital care team, caring for clients and their families and providing extensive family training and ongoing support to the care team. Requirements

Hold a current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
Have at least one year of verifiable work experience as an LPN.
Have NICU, PICU, ICU, or home-care tracheostomy/ventilator experience.
Demonstrate competence in infusion and tracheostomy/ventilator care, demonstrated in a home or lab setting.

Responsibilities

Deliver skilled nursing care to infant and young child clients in their homes during the initial weeks of homecare.
