About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct nursing care to residents and supervises the day-to-day nursing activities performed by care staff at Brandywine Living at Upper Providence in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. This is a per diem position with shifts from 7 a.m.–3 p.m., 3 p.m.–11 p.m., and 11 p.m.–7 a.m. The listed pay range is $34–$35 per hour. The nurse helps promote residents’ health, safety, and well-being; supports medication-administration training and monitoring; and maintains clinical quality assurance in accordance with applicable standards. The role also promotes the company’s service mission and requires participation in scheduled in-service training and compliance with applicable regulations and community policies.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing and hold a current license.
Experience working with residents with Alzheimer’s disease or other related dementias.
Ability to handle multiple tasks.

Nice To Haves

At least two years of experience in long-term care, assisted living, home health, or a hospital setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise care staff in accordance with current state regulations and community policies.
Monitor the health, safety, and well-being of all residents.
Assist with training and monitoring of medication administration.
Maintain clinical quality assurance in accordance with federal, state, and local standards.
Promote the highest degree of service to residents while leading and demonstrating the company’s mission.
Participate in and attend scheduled in-service training.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and community policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
