About The Position

Monarch/Brandywine Senior Living is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide care and support to residents in its Summit, New Jersey community. The role is per diem, with shifts from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Staff must be available for at least four shifts per month, including at least one weekend shift and one holiday shift per month. Compensation is $34–$36 per hour, with final pay based on experience and qualifications. The LPN provides personal care, assistance, support, and companionship; administers or assists with medication according to each resident’s care plan; checks residents’ well-being and communicates changes in condition or care plans; and collaborates with wellness leadership to assess and document residents at required intervals. Requirements

Graduate of a state-approved school of nursing.
Current state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse.
Positive attitude and enjoyment of working with people.
Availability for a minimum of four shifts per month, including at least one weekend shift and one holiday shift per month.

Responsibilities

Provide warm, engaging personal care, assistance, support, and companionship to residents.
Administer or assist with residents’ medication according to their Resident Care Plans.
Engage residents and check on their well-being.
Communicate changes in residents’ conditions or care plans.
Collaborate with the Wellness Director and Assistant Wellness Director in assessing and documenting resident assessments at state- or organization-specified intervals.
Inspire and collaborate with the care team.
