About The Position
As an LPN on the Medical-Surgical Unit, you will provide direct patient care while working closely with registered nurses, providers, and the interdisciplinary team. You will provide compassionate, individualized, patient-centered care and support patients throughout their hospital stay.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved practical nursing program.
- Current LPN license eligible to practice in Wisconsin.
- Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain it within 90 days.
Nice To Haves
- Previous acute-care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care within the scope of LPN practice.
- Monitor patient conditions and promptly report changes.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Assist with assessments and care planning.
- Provide patient and family education.
- Assist with activities of daily living and patient comfort.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Collaborate with RNs, providers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Promote patient safety and infection prevention.
- Support individualized, patient-centered care.
