About The Position
A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct patient care to residents and patients in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center, assisting with activities of daily living under the direction and supervision of a professional nurse. The role is located at Aviata at Countryside in Palm Harbor, Florida, with full-time and part-time night shifts available from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. New graduates are welcome.
Requirements
- Possess a current, unencumbered, active state license to practice as an LPN.
- Be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation facilities is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans for assigned residents.
- Supervise CNAs and participate in their evaluation.
- Oversee the Falls Program and Pressure Sore Program.
- Provide nursing services.
- Conduct and document a thorough evaluation of each resident’s medical status upon admission and throughout the course of treatment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
