About The Position

Highland Hills Post Acute is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses to provide direct nursing care to residents in a 200-bed skilled nursing and post-acute care facility in Pittsburgh’s North Hills. LPNs supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by CNAs and work under the supervision of the Director of Nursing to ensure compliance with current state, federal, and local standards. The role offers 16-hour shifts, with evening and night shift differentials. The facility describes a welcoming workplace with a strong census, an experienced HR team, and leaders who encourage employee ideas and recognize staff. Employees may also pick up PRN shifts at any of eight facilities in the regional network.

Requirements

Current, unencumbered license to practice as a nurse in Pennsylvania.
Current CPR certification.
Ability to maintain all required continuing education and licensing and remain in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
Ability to communicate with and empathize with a vulnerable population.
