About The Position
Interim HealthCare is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide pediatric care. The role involves supporting clients’ health, safety, comfort, and well-being in home environments. Pay is $34–$36 per hour, paid weekly. PRN and part-time opportunities are available, with potential for full-time hours. Nurses can coordinate their availability and schedule with a scheduler, choose from day, evening, or overnight shifts, and work flexible shift lengths. Interim HealthCare provides 24/7 on-call support.
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in South Dakota, or eligibility for licensure through reciprocity or multistate privileges, as applicable.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Previous LPN experience, with 1,000 hours worked.
- One year of pediatric experience.
- Current CPR certification.
- Maintain all required certifications, qualifications, and professional standards.
- Ability to provide compassionate, professional care in long-term care across a variety of home environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care and support clients’ health, safety, comfort, and well-being.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders, Interim policies, and applicable regulations.
- Assist with ambulation, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises.
- Complete nursing assessments and appropriate monitoring according to the plan of care.
- Monitor and record vital signs.
- Observe clients for changes in condition and report concerns to appropriate healthcare team members.
- Identify and report concerns related to patient care, medications, or medical equipment.
