About The Position
BAYADA’s Upstate Skilled Office is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a passion for home care to join its Skilled Private Duty Nursing team. The role provides compassionate, high-quality one-to-one care to clients in their homes. Nurses receive onboarding, paid orientation, and virtual and hands-on training. Schedules are flexible and may include days, afternoons, evenings, or nights, with nurses matched to one nearby client home on a schedule they choose. BAYADA is a nonprofit home health care provider and an Equal Opportunity Employer. Benefits vary according to employment type. The listed pay range is $26–$28 per hour.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
- Hold a current nursing license in good standing in the state.
Responsibilities
- Follow up on, carry out, and properly document doctors’ orders.
- Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
- Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
- Provide one-to-one care to a client in the client’s home.
