About The Position
Deliver personalized, patient-centered care by rooming patients for a variety of Dermatology clinic visits. Be a vital link between patients and providers by communicating results and essential medical information. Play a key role in keeping our clinic running smoothly and efficiently, ensuring every patient’s experience is seamless. Assist with procedures within scope of practice. Administer medications/injections/immunizations. Assist with skin biopsies and MOHS surgeries. Wound dressing and suture removal along with light therapies. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Minnesota required
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy
- Ability to understand patients’ medical records, physician orders and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and staff
