About The Position

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Provider, the Licensed Practical Nurse provides quality, cost-effective direct care for patients and families within a unit, service, or other primary area of practice. The role collaborates with members of the health care team to help patients achieve established care outcomes. It also participates in direct patient care to support individual and family health goals by obtaining, documenting, and reporting patient data related to the established plan of care, and performs therapeutic measures under the direction of an RN or Provider.

Requirements

Current Connecticut Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.

Nice To Haves

Medical/Surgical office experience preferred.
Specialization and/or specific work experience may be required.
