About The Position
Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Provider, the Licensed Practical Nurse provides quality and cost-effective direct care for patients and families within a unit, service, or other primary area of practice. The LPN collaborates with members of the healthcare team to help patients achieve established care outcomes and participates in direct patient care to meet individual and family health goals. This includes obtaining, documenting, and reporting patient data related to the established plan of care and performing therapeutic measures under the direction of an RN or Provider.
Requirements
- Current Connecticut Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
Nice To Haves
- Medical/surgical office experience is preferred.
- Specialization and/or specific work experience may be required.
