About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a member of the OB Team and works closely with the anesthesiologist, nurse anesthetist, and registered nurse to deliver patient care. The LPN acts in accordance with policies, procedures, and standards prescribed by the Governing Board and Hospital Administration of Beaufort Memorial Hospital.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent.
• Entry-level Licensed Practical Nurse.
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association is required before the first clinical shift.
• Must be licensed in South Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Work as a member of the OB Team.
• Work closely with the anesthesiologist, nurse anesthetist, and registered nurse in the delivery of patient care.
• Act in accordance with policies, procedures, and standards prescribed by the Governing Board and Hospital Administration.
