About The Position
This position is for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at the Junction City Campus of Oregon State Hospital. The LPN will assist in determining and providing medical/psychiatric nursing care and treatment for patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Key responsibilities include administering medications, completing focused assessments, responding to emergent psychiatric situations, assisting in maintaining a safe and secure environment, and contributing to the maintenance of the therapeutic milieu. Requirements
- Possess a valid Oregon Practical Nurse License at the time of appointment. The license must be obtained within a reasonable amount of time from the application date.

Responsibilities
- Assist in determining and providing the medical/psychiatric nursing care and treatment for patients at Oregon State Hospital, under the supervision of the RN.
- Administer medications as ordered by the provider.
- Complete focused assessments.
- Respond to emergent psychiatric situations that could potentially be dangerous.
- Assist in providing a safe, secure environment.
- Contribute to the maintenance of the therapeutic milieu.
