About The Position

American Senior Communities is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for its weekend option at Glenbrook. This is a day-shift opportunity with a $4 per hour shift differential. LPNs develop meaningful relationships with residents and staff by learning their life stories and use their nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. Requirements

• Current, valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
• Proficient medication management skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
• Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated, comprehensive care.
• Work toward the shared goal of excellent resident care.
• Support a respectful and positive work environment through interpersonal communication.
• Manage medications proficiently.
• Conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
