The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will administer medications safely and accurately, following proper procedures to minimize medication errors. They will assist the Registered Nurse (RN) with patient assessments and reassessments, and implement appropriate rehabilitation nursing interventions. The LPN will perform Quality Improvement (QI) assessments under RN supervision and deliver care based on patient response to treatment, updating the interdisciplinary plan accordingly. Pain assessment and management, including patient and family education, are key responsibilities. All patient care tasks must be performed with a focus on patient safety and the reduction of medical errors. The LPN will also develop and implement individualized teaching plans and perform other duties as assigned. This role requires strong clinical skills, a commitment to safe, patient-centered care, and the ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team environment.
