The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will administer medications safely and accurately, assist the RN with patient assessments and reassessments, and implement appropriate rehabilitation nursing interventions. This role involves performing timely Quality Improvement (QI) assessments under RN supervision, delivering care based on patient response to treatment, and updating the interdisciplinary plan accordingly. The LPN will also assess and reassess pain, implement appropriate pain management techniques, and educate patients and families. All patient care tasks must be performed in a manner that promotes patient safety and reduces medical errors. Additionally, the LPN will develop and implement individualized teaching plans based on patient and family learning needs and perform other assigned duties. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical skills, a commitment to safe, patient-centered care, and the ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team environment.
