Licensed Practical Nurse - Per Diem
About The Position
Green Bay Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a per-diem Licensed Practical Nurse to join its patient-care team in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The hospital provides inpatient rehabilitation for people recovering from life-altering injuries and illnesses, including stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, orthopedic injuries, and other complex medical conditions. It offers personalized rehabilitation services in a modern, Joint Commission-accredited facility. Under the direction of a registered nurse, the LPN provides general nursing care to patients and integrates the hospital’s mission and Guiding Principles into daily practice.
Requirements
- Current state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Current CPR certification.
- Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.
- Awareness of current infection control requirements and practices.
- Clinical proficiency in using policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Appropriate use of supplies and equipment.
- General computer skills, including data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
- Effective organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work closely and professionally with others.
- Ability to maintain quality, safety, and infection-control standards.

- One year of recent experience in an acute care setting.
