About The Position
Centurion is seeking a per-diem Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join its team at Jefferson City Correctional Center in Jefferson City, Missouri. Centurion provides comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections. The LPN (Medical) provides holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. The nurse works under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical and psychiatric staff to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs. Shifts are per diem and as needed.
Requirements
- Missouri LPN license or ability to obtain one.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, including a drug screen and criminal background check.
Responsibilities
- Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within the appropriate scope of practice.
- Work under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical and psychiatric staff.
- Respond to patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.
