About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one care to pediatric clients in their homes on a day-shift schedule. The role offers flexible scheduling based on the nurse’s availability, with traditional private-duty shifts and the opportunity to build relationships with clients and observe their milestones. BAYADA serves clients across ages, diagnoses, and acuity levels.

The LPN travels to one client’s home, follows and carries out doctors’ orders, performs assessments, monitors client conditions, and documents observations, interventions, and evaluations. Nurses receive paid training in the office, in the home, and online, may practice in adult and pediatric simulation labs, and have access to around-the-clock clinical phone support. Electronic charting is done using Statewise.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
• A current nursing license in good standing in the state.
• A minimum of five months of LPN experience.

Responsibilities

• Travel to one client’s home according to the chosen schedule.
• Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
• Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
• Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
• Provide one-on-one hands-on care to clients.
