About The Position

American Senior Communities is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Zionsville Meadows Assisted Living. The role offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships by learning about residents’ and staff members’ life stories. Nurses use their skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being and contribute to a rewarding care experience. The LPN helps create a comforting and engaging atmosphere, encourages teamwork among the care team, and collaborates with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive care. Requirements

Hold a current, valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in Indiana.
Have proficient medication management skills.
Be able to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition.
Have a strong passion for geriatric nursing and a commitment to senior care excellence.
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrate Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.

Responsibilities

Promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being through nursing skills.
Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive care.
Conduct resident assessments and accurately document changes in condition.
