About The Position

Avita Health System is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their Health Services Department at their Galion location. The LPN will assess, plan, and implement nursing care for patients within the physician clinic under the supervision of a physician or Allied Health Provider. This role involves patient and family teaching, acting as a patient advocate, and coordinating clinical staff regarding patient flow and operations as directed by the physician. Avita Health System serves communities in Crawford and Richland counties and has grown significantly, employing over 2,200 team members and more than 160 physicians and advanced practitioners.

Requirements

Current Licensed Practical Nurse in State of Ohio.
Current BLS certification.

Nice To Haves

Two (2) or more years of previous experience in a physician office.

Responsibilities

Assesses, plans and implements the nursing care of patients within the physician clinic with the supervision of the physician or Allied Health Provider (CNP/PA).
Participates in patient and family teaching.
Maintains role as patient advocate with a focus on the facility’s mission.
Provides coordination to the clinical staff as to patient flow and clinical operations as directed by the physician.
