About The Position

Bassett Healthcare Network, in central New York is seeking a full-time BC/BE Infectious Disease Physician. This is an opportunity to join an established group of 3 physicians and participate in inpatient and outpatient consults, longitudinal HIV care, and infectious disease call by phone (1:4). There is also an opportunity to cover telehealth for non-affiliated hospitals, and engage in clinical research, stewardship, and infection control. Moonlighting opportunities are available for inpatient internal medicine as a hospitalist. The role is part of Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive academic health system and a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. With a faculty appointment from Columbia, there will be daily interaction with medical students, as well as internal medicine and transitional residents.

Requirements

• MD, DO or MBBS
• BC/BE
• Completion of an accredited USA Infectious Disease Fellowship
• New York State Licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
• BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Inpatient and outpatient consults
