About The Position

AMN Healthcare has partnered with the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) to recruit a Medical Director of Pediatric Infectious Diseases Clinical Operations in Charleston, South Carolina. This leadership opportunity offers the ability to shape one of the fastest growing Pediatric Infectious Diseases programs in the country, driving clinical excellence, operational strategy, and program expansion within a highly collaborative academic environment. You will partner with divisional leadership to optimize care delivery, expand access, and lead the development of a nationally recognized Immunocompromised Pediatric Infectious Diseases program, while contributing to education, research, and multidisciplinary care across MUSC Children’s Health.

Requirements

  • MD or MD equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Lead one of the fastest growing Pediatric Infectious Diseases programs in the country
  • Oversee two inpatient consult services, outpatient clinics, and antimicrobial stewardship
  • Build a premier Immunocompromised Pediatric Infectious Diseases program
  • Collaborate with oncology, transplant, ICU, NICU, and surgical subspecialties
  • Participate in a well-established fellowship program with teaching opportunities
  • Drive measurable improvements in access, outcomes, and care coordination
