About The Position
Bassett Healthcare Network, in central New York, is seeking a full-time BC/BE Infectious Disease Physician. This role involves joining an established group of 3 physicians, providing both inpatient and outpatient consultations, and managing outpatient longitudinal HIV care. The position offers a 1:4 infectious disease call rotation by phone, with opportunities to cover telehealth for non-affiliated hospitals. Additionally, there are possibilities for involvement in clinical research, stewardship, and infection control, as well as moonlighting opportunities for inpatient internal medicine as a hospitalist. The physician will become part of Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive academic health system and a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, with opportunities for faculty appointment and daily interaction with medical students and residents.
Requirements
- MD, DO or MBBS
- BC/BE
- Completion of an accredited USA Infectious Disease Fellowship
- New York State Licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- BLS certification
