About The Position
Christwood is seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse for its Assisted Living Department. The role involves managing the floor and at least two nursing assistants, managing medications, receiving and implementing orders, documenting incidents appropriately, and maintaining open communication with the nurse manager. Christwood is a not-for-profit continuing care retirement community in Covington, Louisiana. Its mission is to help seniors live with dignity and independence while providing assurance of needed physical, spiritual, and medical care.
Responsibilities
- Manage the floor and at least two nursing assistants.
- Manage medications.
- Receive and implement orders.
- Maintain appropriate documentation of incidents.
- Maintain open communication with the nurse manager.
