About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a Long-Term Care facility. This role offers a supportive environment with a diverse patient population and consistent scheduling.
Requirements
- Active New York LPN license
- Minimum 1 year of LPN experience
- BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
Nice To Haves
- Long Term Care experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), orthopedic, and dementia/memory care needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient vital signs and condition, reporting any changes to the charge nurse.
- Document patient care using the PointClickCare EMR system.
- Float to all units within the same building as required.
