Waverly Gardens is seeking Full-time and Part-time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join the team in Long Term Care/TCU for the following shifts: AM (0630-1500) 16 or 64 hours per pay period PM (1430-2300) 48 hours per pay period NOC (2230-700) 24 hours per pay period Sheltered by ten acres of lush parkland, Waverly Gardens architecture reflects an aura of Old World Charm that has been revitalized and paired with today's most luxurious amenities. The community is located 15 miles north of St. Paul, just off I-35E, with nearby lakes, trails and parks. Requirements

  • Licensed Practical Nurse with current licensure with the State Board of Nursing in state(s) in which he/she practices.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Interest in gerontological nursing, rehabilitative and restorative clinical practices.
  • Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.

Responsibilities

  • The purpose of your position is to put “Smiles in the Eyes of our Residents” by fulfilling Presbyterian Homes’ mission, purpose, motto, commitment to service, promise, and practices.
  • You will be responsible for the provision and monitoring of high-quality clinical care and services to residents consistent with regulations and established clinical best practices.
  • You will monitor the work of Medication Assistants, Resident Assistants and Resident Aides in the community on his/her assigned shift.
  • You will report directly to the RN, Clinical Coordinator or Clinical Administrator as designated at the site and may take direction from the Community Coordinator.
